ABOUT ME

I am from Charlotte, NC, where I attended Providence High School. I graduated from Providence in 2005.  While at Providence, I competed in basketball and softball.  After high school I went to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), where I competed as a Division 1 college athlete for softball from 2005-2007. I graduated from UNCW in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in health.

 

I started my coaching career while still attending UNCW.  I coached one year of JV softball at New Hanover High School in 2008. Then coached another year at Ashley High School as a JV softball coach, where I did my student teaching in 2009. After I graduated from UNCW in 2009, I got the opportunity to start my teaching career here at South Iredell High School.   I came to Hough High School in January of 2015. I am currently on my 6th year of teaching.

I am blessed to have very loving and supportive parents who still live in Charlotte.  I also am the younger sister to my brother, Adam, who passed away in Feburary 24, 2008 at the age of 23.  In my spare time I love watching any sporting events.  I AM A HUGE DUKE FAN!!!! I Love my Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Braves as well.I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, fishing on the lake, boating, jet skiing, snow skiing, playing basketball, and softball.
